"As for Bills fans, in a town that loves its stars dressed in jeans instead of leather, the low-talking, slow-walking Holcomb is on the verge of becoming the people's choice over the hyper, California-cool Losman." - L. Roth

Bullsh__. Bruce Smith used to walk around town in tent-like fur coats. If a guy's a winner, Bills fans wouldn't care if we wore panties and garter belts. This kind of reporting is garbage and as soon as Holcomb stinks it up, JP will be in there and we we'll all be cheering him on. Losman has been nothing but a team player since he's been here, he deserves better than that. Leave your man fantasies off the sports pages Leo.

When Losman was putting in loads of hours in the off season the Buffalo media all loved the guy and wrote articles on how the fans would love him too because of his work ethic. The moment he struggles suddenly he's "California cool"?

Whatever.

An excellent point! I was thinking the same thing; isn't it possible to say good things about holcomb without having to bash JP? Sheesh. Then again, the only thing that being a columnist has in common with being a cornerback or a major league closer is a very short memory... you forget whatever you wrote in the past lest it keep you from making directly contradictory statements in the future...

Careful saying that homo lifestyles are ok on this board will earn you a thrashing by the membership.

BTW, Leo doesn't realize that JP is still a rookie and that he would struggle. Kelly has played great but he hasn't thrown for over 200 yards yet. I think it's a bit early to be gobbing Holcomb's knob this early.
