DC Tom Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Ankle 34086 Not "menstral" (sic) cramps...? Seriously...what happened to his ankle? I don't remember seeing anything in the game...practice injury or something?
Mark VI Posted September 16, 2004 Author Posted September 16, 2004 Not "menstral" (sic) cramps...? Seriously...what happened to his ankle? I don't remember seeing anything in the game...practice injury or something? 34088 Didn't say. Said he was just added to the injury list. Jeff Morrison will have details later.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 I remember him getting his ankle rolled in the game, and he came out limping. I don't think he was suffering cramps during the game.
PIZ Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Yeah, what was with the blood all over his butt?
VABills Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Yeah, what was with the blood all over his butt? 34100 Forgot the tampon.
MDH Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 TH, while never having a serious injury, always seems to have a niggling thing or two wrong with him. I hope WM can handle the load and be productive.
BuffalOhio Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Yeah, what was with the blood all over his butt? 34100 Could've been red ink/paint from the field turf.
ch19079 Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 the way he runs, full spead right at people, and knocks them over, is a hard way to run. im not surprised he has nagging injuries. WM cuts and finds holes, and wont run full speed in to a hole.
Rico Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Questionable, not doubtful or out... I say he plays, especially with what we saw from him last year & with Willis breathing down his neck.
bobblehead Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Since yesterday afternoon, WGR has been bending over backwards trying to find fault with the Bills for not reporting this until the injury report deadline. Keeping the Raiders in the dark about this as long as possible was not to be mentioned.
JoeF Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Morrison just said Travis is NOT on the injury report. He participated in full drills today.
Mark VI Posted September 16, 2004 Author Posted September 16, 2004 Morrison said Henry will play Sunday. Still has his ankle taped and has a slight limp from Sunday. Because he didn't participate in some drills yesterday, the NFL requires he be added to the injury report. He's not officialy " questionable " , as Howard Simon reported earlier. Bills are resting him until Sunday so he can mend.
JinVA Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Morrison just said Travis is NOT on the injury report. He participated in full drills today. 34172 Great news, thanks
kasper13 Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Fire up the contoversy......How long before Henry can officially be labeled "injury prone"? This guy is always hurt or banged up or something. Should have traded him while he was healthy. Run Willis Run.
sfladave Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Simon must have gotten the story from Jerry Sullivan!
Rayzer32 Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Fire up the contoversy......How long before Henry can officially be labeled "injury prone"? This guy is always hurt or banged up or something. Should have traded him while he was healthy. Run Willis Run. 34186 I agree. I can only imagine what THs numbers would be like if he were even close to 100% since the start of his career. He has been dinged or injured every year. It's only week 1 this year and the bug has already hit him. I hope WM is ready.
Fake-Fat Sunny Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Fire up the contoversy......How long before Henry can officially be labeled "injury prone"? This guy is always hurt or banged up or something. Should have traded him while he was healthy. Run Willis Run. 34186 And Willis has never had a serious leg injury? Please. This is why your roster needs two starter quality backs on it. There are several ways to do this and most teams do this by having a reserve who they judge is good enough to step up. The Bills have done this by getting Henry to sign a sweetheart deal for us and drafting an injured college star and rehabbing him. Trading either player now would be a foolish football move unless you know something about Shayd Williams and a certainty that he is ready to step up that the rest us don't know.
BF_in_Indiana Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Travis is always going to have these things. He is a hard runner. It's why you see these types of runners break down early in their career. Earl Campbell, Franco Harris, Emmitt Smith. Why do you think Barry Sanders was so productive and would probably be close to as productive today if he hadn't retired??? He knew when to avoid a hit. Guys like Travis go looking for hits.
