UConn James Posted October 8, 2005 Share Posted October 8, 2005 Nice to finally get a W against one of the bigger Big (L)East teams that've stymied us so far in our D-I odessey. Too bad it was against a Cuse team that's hit the snide. And too bad we won't get another chance at BC probably, ever. (That would have been a great New England match-up if they could have waited a few years. Instead, we're rooting against those liars, who were talking with the ACC as they were promising us they'd stay in the BE, so we'd build a new $90M stadium). What I've been calling for all season, we finally got the talented frosh QB, DJ Hernandez, in the game when the holdover backup went down w/ a broken collarbone. I dunno, to me it makes more sense to develop a QB from the start rather than trying to grasp at the vestiges after you must say goodbye to the best QB in school history.
