Ghost of BiB
to proclaim that this has been one of the worst 3 game stretches in 40 years is beyond silly and bordering on sheer insanity. 469461 Mayhaps, but it sure is indicative of a true malaise. It's not three games, it's been several seasons. Other teams find ways to fix stuff. We draft midget WR's with a rookie QB with no line, and take the future of the teams' crippled first round running back going to save the day and give him 16 carries a game. Fire the staff. Period. You can't lose TD without losing his judgements. And you have to. The rest of Pittsburgh goes with him. I'm tired of this, and I'm tired of the Holcomb-JP posts. So, no one cares what I think, but since the same people will state the same QB crap in 55 other threads withot a break, I'll go back to my poor mangement rant from two years ago. You have a mediocre to bad front office making stupid calls. Y'all might now just be waking up to it, and finally, you're pissed. Oh, BTW, true fan guy? Bite me. rockpile
This year has been like watching a bad movie over and over again. 469291 Like Ground Hog's Day? Actually, I can't wait til Sunday and even if the Bills get destroyed, I will not be depressed. Disappointed, yes. I expect them to win every week. If not, why watch? My kids asked me why I didn't choose a different team, back in 1985.
Peter
Like Ground Hog's Day? Actually, I can't wait til Sunday and even if the Bills get destroyed, I will not be depressed. Disappointed, yes. I expect them to win every week. If not, why watch? My kids asked me why I didn't choose a different team, back in 1985. 469490 In my case, it was not so much that I chose a team in the conventional sense. It was and is part of my heritage. I remember going to the Rockpile with my Dad since the time I was about 5 years old. I will never forget all of the Sunday afternoons that my Dad and I spent supporting the Bills from when I was a kid until he passed away. One of my regrets is that my Dad never got a chance to see the Bills in the Super Bowl. The last game he saw was Kelly's second game as a Bill. Now that I have a son, I am passing on to him what my Dad and I shared. I could never choose another team. Living in Miami, a lot of Dolphin fans ask me why don't I adopt the Dolphins instead. What an idiotic question. How can you be a real fan of a team if you do not stick with them through thick and thin and no matter where you live. I will always be a Bills fan and will always have my season tickets. That is just the way it is -- no matter how frustrating it may be.

Mark VI
Hells Bells. After the game is done, I move on . It's nothing I can control, so why let it torture me ? I've been going to games since the 60's. I was playing chutes and ladders with the kids about 5 minutes after the Saints game. That's real life. I have to admit that when my son asked me to play with his Thomas the Tank Engine trains with him, it helped put things in perspective. (He has not graduated to Chutes and Ladders yet). BillnutinHouston
As frustrating as this season has been so far, I do think some people are a bit much with the catastrophizing. There is still plenty of time to right the ship, and you have to remember that things can go awry when you take the chance with a rookie QB. There are still a lot of positives to build off of for THIS season....people just need to take a deep breath and recognize them. 469472 No, there is not PLENTY of time. Last year we went on an insane run (against a weaker schedule than this year's slate) and still came up short. Every freaking game is precious and needs to be treated that way. How many times do we have to finish out of the playoffs before people get that?

We are not out of ANYTHING yet.....not even close. We are a GAME behind the Pats!
