cåblelady Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 ive given up on this season, i cant take this anymore Never say die. I've taken this since the 60's.
JoeF Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I don't knwo what Moulds said to elicit this kind of response; I've been looking around TBD for articles and these are teh sum total of his comments that I've been able to find: " "I've talked to a lot of the veteran players and we want to win now, when you're a young player, you understand that you want to win, but at the same time, you've got a long time to try to win in this league. But for a veteran player, the window is closing for us and we're trying to win now." Re: Holcomb "I think he's seen a lot of coverages, he's seen a lot of defenses, in that aspect, you can do a little bit more with a veteran quarterback than you can with a young rookie quarterback." "I think it takes a good coach to be able to say, "You know what? I'm going to sit the starting quarterback down and go with somebody else and try to get a spark from Kelly, a guy that's a veteran that has played and won some games in this league,' so I think you have to take your hat off to Coach Mularkey for being able to do that. A lot of coaches wouldn't have done it, so we respect him in that sense and we're going to back him 100 percent." "I think J.P. knows that he's the future here and I think that he knows that the situation was the coaches' decision," he's not happy about it. He wants to be the starter. But he feels that right now it's the coaches' decision and he has to live with it." Gee, that's some really controversial stuff there. 469278 Non controversial??? Eric admitted that he and the other vets form an inner circle..its nothing short of shocking. Shame on 80 for breaking the news. I think TD is going to order a Code Red. Maybe Jack Nicholson will play TD in the movie...although Leslie Nielsen's probably a better fit.
meazza Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Never say die. I've taken this since the 60's. 469644 ur a strong one... i havent officially given up cuz i still follow the games but i dont really watch them from home because i could be working so i just turn on nfl.com and watch jp's stats as he lights up the scoreboard overall though i think there is one problem the bills have had and always will have and noone except some people on this board want to admit, and the initials are O and L
Simon Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Be quiet. You're one of the adolescent mods in the inner circle spouting drivel. Some true fan told us so. 469280 I have no qualms about admitting that I suffer from a severe case of Peter Pan Syndrome. On second thought, maybe "suffer" isn't the right word.
Mike32282 Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Umm Have you seen JP's throws to Moulds this year? I think there was maybe one deep ball Moulds could have caught (and even that was a tough one). Other than that, incompletions in Moulds' direction have been the result of some pretty poor passes. I especially loved the INT that was thrown over his head. But course, he should have caught that one too. 469219 uhh, he dropped 2 passes last week that were thrown in his hands. And the interception was because he supposedly ran the run route. JP Losman told him to get deeper, and he ran a short route. They havent been in sync with eachother all year, including training camp and I think it's because of Moulds' attitude. He doesnt like havent a rookie QB be his captain, be the one who takes charge of the team. IMO.

Cobra Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Maybe if Moulds gave an honest effort people wouldn't be so hard on him. Are you his father? Your pretty protective of him.....
