"JP is a young player, who is going to have to go through growing pains." Even the villanous TD said that time after time. Well this benching is one of those growing pains.

Everyone take a deep breath, get off the ledge. You all said you knew JP would have his tough times. Well, this is a tough time. From the reactions, it seems like you all said the right thing, but had some deep down fantasy that Losman really would just come in and play like the "next Brett Favre" coming out of the chute. Some of you are taking this benching as if somebody broke the news to you that there really is no Santa Claus. All of this tumult over a guy with a 59 QB rating?

JP will have his time. He will get another opportunity sooner or later to lead the Bills offense again. The stance some of you have taken is that it seems you are wishing Holcomb to fail miserably, so there is really no upside for you, if the Bills beat the Dolphins. We are only going into week 5 people...football seasons go way too quick, and we all go nuts every spring and summer waiting for the next season. Why not try to enjoy this one, and pull for the team you all obviously love?

We will likely know in the next 4 weeks if this season can be salvaged. If not, we can start the rebuilding in week 9, and I am sure JP will be getting lots of experience. Remember, Eli Manning (who everybody seems to be holding up as the example for JP) didn't start for the Giants until the 10th game of the season. Don't give up already....
