ganesh Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Sooner or later you have to count on your players to play together and step up, ala the Patriots. TD can't go out there and make them gel. That's up to the coach and the players. 466645 Yup...This is where our coaching falls apart....THe Pats don't have super stars at every position, but their coaches put them in position to make plays...You UDFAs and 7th rounders have to chip in....and that starts right at the top from the HC...
ganesh Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Seriously, lots of fans seem to be fine with this. TD truly IS amazing. I am serious. He brought us players such as Spikes and Fletcher. He dumped a retarded drug addict on another team and got a 3rd!!!! This is impressive by any standard. Otoh, he trades away picks that could have been used to build a foundation and delivers us quarterbacks and small wideouts. Then, his teams lose. 466654 My biggest question mark over TD and Modrak is their inability to build a decent OL....They seemed to have missed on every single OL player they have brought in.
ganesh Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 good point maybe he was embarrassed and bledsoe was the scape goat......8/10 and 6 in a row with 30 points or more put on the board..........now what though.....i say play jp or end his career as a bill, they are messing with his head too much...............watch how coughlin does it 466794 People keep saying Bledsoe was a scapegoat...Not true...He really stunk up the joint....Please don't point to 9 wins....Most of those wins came because our Defense and STs scored TDs in almost every game.....and also had interceptions that set up quick scores.... Even against the big teams like NE, Pittsburgh and Baltimore, our D set up interceptions, but Bledsoe stunk up the joint with sacks and fumbles...and causing losses... Bledsoe had to go...He couldn't fit in with the personnel we had...He is a better fit with Dallas because Dallas has 4 pro-bowlers on its OL to protect him and give him the 6 seconds to throw to veteran WRs...
