Present and accounted for!

Lana, I think you should go in for a Kate avatar.

Oh yeah, good idea. I'll have to see what I can come up with.

PS: I like your signature line.

Okay, got myself a Lost avatar.  Now, can I join the club?  :flirt:

Something tells me they have ideas on the initiation. Since I'm equally sure they can't agree once it gets technical, you're probably fairly safe.

You're officially in.

(And they'll tell stories about me and an inflatable Kate doll at the LOST party. Don't believe them; I never saw it in my life!)

BTW, do you like Buckley for the quote or the music, too?

For Buckley. He's a very talented musician/singer. And I thank AJZepp for introducing him to me. :flirt:

Was. :P. I only recently caved and got "Sketches..." and I could see why he wanted to erase those. The Live in Chicago DVD is awesome and I'm glad it was done; I've been meaning to do a write-up on it in my blog.

Personality-wise he seemed like someone who'd be a kick to know in real life, if you could manage get close to his Salinger-like ass for two seconds together. I've been told I'm a lot like him in that way (and when my hair was longer, got a few "Wow, you look like..."'s too) only more focused. But I could never be a musician; you're talking with someone who has a hard time walking and chewing gum at the same time. :flirt:

Was, yeah that's what i meant to say. I just like listening to him because he's got so much emotion in his voice when he sings. You can almost feel the pain he is going through is some of his songs. I only have his Grace CD but i've heard about the live DVD that was put out. I'll have to check that out. :P

By all means, if you thought Grace was good b/c of the sheer energy and emotion (and people shouldn't get the wrong idea of what "emotion" is in music, b/c it's not this "emo" crap that's the rage now b/c Buckley didn't have a style. Buckley was Buckley) you're in for a treat. I think it's like $12 on Amazon. It was actually my initiation, and when I was trying to find a particular lyric (where he does a drawn-out "You" part in Mojo Pin) I figured that he couldn't have been that deep in the second song. I was wrong. He was just ON that night.

I think Grace was his way of working out a lot of sh-- from his past and dealing with his father's legacy and trying to dispel that he was part of it. I don't know how right he was about that. It all conspired to make him what he was, and for as long as it lasted, it was superb and it was real.
