If he didn't, he'd never have discovered Australia.

I don't know if anyone recalls this, if you do, refresh my memory, but remember that one game like seven years ago, I think it was in the playoffs against the Titans or someone when RJ threw that pass with one friggin' shoe?! That was unbelievable! Serious, what quarterback in the history of football wouldn't have just called time, knelt down and re-tied his shoelaces? Talk about pocket presence! About a week later, I was on this plane, and next to me was Dr. Scholl. And when I started talking about that play he couldn't stop gushing about RJ, who was by far his favorite player in the league 'cuz of that one play.

Have any of you ever tried to throw a pass in a sock? I don't know about you, but let me tell ya, I have, plenty of times, and I'll tell you right now it's just like throwing in a shoe, only a little more comfy. But RJ, if you remember, doesn't bother taking off his other shoe to get totally comfy. No. Not him. He keeps the friggin other cleat ON, so one foot's unbelievably comfy and the other is just plain normally comfy, and then GUNS it like ten yards. That play was friggin' amazing. But most people just forget about it and always yap about some Moron City Musical play that mighta happened later in that game, I can't remember.

And other thing about that game. If we woulda won, we woulda won the Super Bowl that year! No doubt. We had the best team and if we got past those cheatin' Titans we definitely woulda won three in a row because of our quarterback. Flutie. Shoeless Johnson never really even played three games in a row, let alone won them, so he definitely woulda been hurt and Flutie just wins, one shoe or two.

Ahhhhhh, gets ya all nostalgic, don't it?
