jahbonas Posted October 4, 2005 Share Posted October 4, 2005 All last year Big Ben attempted 20 passes per game....this year thru 3 games its the same 20/game...Clements had Losman attempt close to 28 attempts each game. That is THE problem. Someone inform Tom Clements he does not have a Jim Kelly/Shaud Williams combo in his backfield...he has more similar to 1973 OJ Simpson with rookie QB Ferguson in his backfield. (Fergy attempted 11 passes/game that year). Clements is the true rookie here in his 2nd year as an OC...making the classic mistake of being so wound up in his gameplan that should work but never accounting for the players/skills asked to execute the plan. Ofcourse all this poor coaching (both our coorinators and head coach are doing their jobs for the 1st time) is due to the fact Ralhp Wilson has a self imposed SALARY CAP on his coaching staff...well Ralph that cap lost you Marvin Lewis and got you Greg Williams and Mike Mularkey.
