I just got home and didn't see a single snap today, so I'm looking at the nfl.com playbyplay trying to figure out what happened. Doesn't look like we got rolled up, just a few (*^*&%^$^#mistakes at the wrong time:

We apparently controlled the entire 1st qrtr. Then right at the end Denney and Schoble split a sack on 3rddown to force a Saints punt, but Nate gets called ofr one of those 3rddown Dholding call I hate. Saints finish the extended drive with a FG.

OK no problem, we're still controlling the game. The very next play JP throws a pick that ends up in our end and the Saints get their only TD of the game. Suddenly we trail.

Then we answer with a 64yrd kickreturn which gets called back with a 30yrd holding penalty. JP still manages to put together a nice 14play drive but Lindell misses the FG.

Saints take advantage of the good field postion and then get a FG before half.

Then there's this thing:

"M.Berger kicks 55 yards from NO 30 to BUF 15. T.McGee to NO 3 for 82 yards (F.Thomas)."

What the hell is that? Did McGee almost score on the last play of the half?

Nothing interesting in the 3rd, but then with 11:00 left in a 6pt game the Bills apparently run the same play on 3rd and 4th down at midfield? That looks pretty damned stupid. Naturally the Saints end up with a FG as a result and now it's a 2 score game with 5:00 left.

When Holcombe can only pick up 5yrds that essentially ends it.

Key plays of the game:

Defensive holding on Nate is a call that changes possessions.

JP throws the pick and we're suddenly trailing in a game that we should be in control of.

Lindell misses a 45yrdr to tie and the Saints turn the field position into their own 3pts.

TMcGee tackled at the 3 as time expires in the first half?

Mularkey goes for it in his own end of the field early in the 4thqrtr of a 6ptgame.

That's 5 plays that decided this game and now we need to win 2 straight division match-ups just to get back to .500. :(
