ajzepp
That actually happened to me earlier while reading a different thread. Someone was suggesting we start "Kelly" and I'm thinking, "Yeah those were the days..." then I realized he was talking about KH. 461808 lol, that's pretty funny.....though now that you mention it.....I'd love to see Jimbo suit up against the Fins Well, assuming Louis Oliver isn't playing..... RuntheDamnBall
lol.....the only thing Im on right now is chicken I just can't give up on this team after four games.....I just can't! 461642 It doesn't matter whether you've given up or not, if the defense and the coaches are giving up. Typical TBD Guy
TD is a good GM. 461728 Sure. Compared to Stew Barber he is.

Seriously. These bastards are paid a lot of money, and they should be giving 110% every week. If I were GM and felt someone had given up, they'd be gone. If you're right, that's a friggin disgrace. BB2004
This is getting harder and harder to stay positive, but let's look at the situation for what it is. We're 1-3. All 3 losses against the NFC. The Pats are 2-2 and looking pretty shakey. The Jets will probably be 1-3 at the end of the day and are in just as rough shape as us. The Dolphins are 2-1. If we beat the Dolphins next week, we have a chance to be a half game back in the AFC east. The D isn't playing quite as bad as everyone says. Yes, they are doing awful on 3rd downs, but they only gave up 17 points today. Just 1 TD. I think the major ingredient lacking from these games are turnovers. If the Bills could take the ball away, it would drastically change games. Usually all it takes is a few in one game to get over the hump and then they start to come in bunches. If this D can start forcing turnovers, and Tom Clements realizes that he has a pretty good running back to give the ball to, the Bills could start to string some wins together. With the AFC east as weak as it is, we could sneak into the playoffs. Yep, you heard me right. Bills will be AFC east champs! Mock me if you want, but it's a lot more fun than talking about draft picks. Go Bills!!! 461572 Well said, but if we lose next week, I don't know how the optimists are going to have anything to say.
BuffOrange
I'm staying with ya.....Three losses is enough for JP for right now.....they need to start Kelly next week and let him stay in for as long as he plays well/wins games. I need a break from JP, and I think our receivers do too. Nobody is playing well in our division right now.....it's still too early to give up. GO BILLS!!!! 461606 As bleak as things look right, I'll co-sign that. These 2 home division games are the season. Play Holcomb and if we win both, see what happens from there. If we lose 1, then we can call it a season and get JP some experience for the rest of the year.

Well, I should say give us a SECOND spark since the friggin coaches apparently disregard the spark that a certain running back gives us. But ANYWAY, that's another issue.....You're exactly right, these games are huge. Kelly has never had the kind of weapons around him that we have. If the damn line can give him some time, I think he may light it up. He had some huge games for the Browns with skill players that can't hold the jocks of Moulds, Evans, and McGahee.
