Mark VI Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 I guess he's stubborn and hates handing the ball to #21. It worked well on the first drive and that seemed to irk him. So Willis received 3 carries over the next 2 quarters and we didn't see a first down for a long time. Disgusting. The Bills deserve every bit of this 1-3 record and Mularkey cannot defend his obvious hatred for a low risk run based offense that may be our best chance to win with our current roster. So continue running pass plays that have zero chance of succeeding. Keep calling flea ficker hook & ladders. NFL = Not For Long . It applies to coaches and also GM's.

rastabillz Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Now we have QB controversy to boot. I did not like the benching of JP. It's not like Holcomb is lighting up the scroeboard.

jahbonas Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 For sure. 461477 There is no Qb controversy...the controversy is what type of offense Clements is going to run....an offense built around a big RB or behind a QB ???? It was assumed all offseason this team would be built around running/defense & special teams. Its getting easy to see why Clements and Mularkey were escorted out of Pittsburgh. They have no idea how to play smash mouth football !!!!

The coaching decisions last and this week have been a joke, let alone the lack of a game plan that sets up plays that can succeed rather than the freakin script.

TheMadCap Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Glad that you now see it my way. Took you long enough. JP isn't the problem. 461494 Well, not the ENTIRE problem anyway...

Mark VI Posted October 2, 2005 Author Posted October 2, 2005 In " Ask The Coach " this week, the question is obvious. " Coach, why do you abhor the run ? "
Mark VI Posted October 2, 2005 Author Posted October 2, 2005 Glad that you now see it my way. Took you long enough. JP isn't the problem. 461494 My avatar has spoken volumes for 2 weeks. You're a little late to pat yourself on the back.

Thailog80 Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 For sure. 461477 No fair to Holcomb let him have a full weeks worth of reps and an even score.
cåblelady Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 No fair to Holcomb let him have a full weeks worth of reps and an even score. 461529 Just as fair as throwing JP in at NE last year.
VABills Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 The only thing worse Mularkey could do now is bench Losman and start Holcomb.
KOKBILLS Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Yeah that dam is getting ready to burst wide open, derseverdly so IMO. 461504 Yep...Well I already saw Butch Davis take a swing this past week on the NFL Network. Davis said he thought he would see a dialed back approach when he put in the Game Films for Losman, but found that the Bills were pretty much trying to run a Full Package on Offense...He went on to point out how JP had missed Wide Open throws, but the hint was he was not ready to make the reads...That hint is gonna turn into a shout starting this week...This Game Plan today was an all out joke, and the adjustments on the fly were worse...I mean, how good does Willis have to look to get an Offensive Game Plan based on his abilities to Run the Ball? And I thought that was the Plan all along anyway??? What in the hell happened here?
