plenzmd1 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Just wondering what you all think about doing DNA testing for athletes. I guess this is coming to the forfront with the Eddie Curry thing. Heres a link http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2176913 One part of me says this is a really slippery slope, and it could go from the fields to the office really quick. The other side says I'm going to invest big time money in a guaranteed contract, I got a right to know and perform all the due diligence I can. In the end, I really think this is a bad idea.
Tux of Borg Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 I think the Bulls are screwed either way they go. No doubt his family will sue if Curry dies on the basketball court. There is a dangerous precedence that might be set here. Not just the sporting teams, but for the regular work force. It could effect you getting health and life insurance. It will be interesting to see where this goes.
