PTS Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Is this the first time an NFL regular season game has been played in another country? I know the Cards played a game in Mexico City before but was it regular season? It's going to be funny watching them play at Estadio Azteca (Aztec Stadium). As a huge US soccer fan, I've seen many soccer games played there and the conditions are horrible. The smog, the heat and the altitude ... and the smelly, urine throwing Mehecanos. The US Soccer team trains high in the Colorado months for weeks before playing in Mexico City. There are going to be a lot of passed out OLs and DTs that game.
buckeyemike Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Oh, that's right. I forgot Mexico City is 7,500 feet above sea level. That should be fun to watch. Mike
philburger1 Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Viva la Urine Bombs! 455540 Don't forget the chant of "OSMA! OSMA!" coming from the gringo haters.....
Louie Armstrong Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Margaritas, Senoritas, and the Arizona Cardinals?
Pete Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 San Fran- Arizona? Can there be a worse matchup on primetime?
MDH Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Viva la Urine Bombs! 455540 If the only NFL football I got to see was the Niners against the Cardinals I might be upset enough to throw crap on the field too. The NFL is trying to gain popularity in other countries by exporting this game as an example of the product?
PTS Posted September 26, 2005 Author Posted September 26, 2005 San Fran- Arizona? Can there be a worse matchup on primetime? 455762 Bills vs. San Fran?
