For all the whining about Losman, our $6M/yr WR needs to haul that catch in, regardless of whether Hall may have had a bit of interference. Losman hit him in the hands.

i hope you are not defending JP.  if we just had an AVERAGE ROOKIE quarterback this season we would be fine.  jp is having trouble hitting wide open recievers......

We do have an average rookie QB. He stinks, which is par for the course with a QB in his third start.

so par for the course for a 'rookie' QB is missing wide open recievers??? sweet! i'm glad we are par for the course then because this is going to be a hell of a long season.....

Atlanta is 6/8 converting 3rd downs. Our D is just horrid. I wonder if anybody is going to defend them by saying our O has left them out to dry today...

we HAVE to have the worst 3rd down defence in the nfl this season!!!  if we go down by more then one score here its over....

we were 17th going into the game, smack average. Last years "#2 defense" was only 13th in holding them on 3rd down.

Yeah, unfortunately, that's what it means. It usually takes a season or two to develop accuracy as well as the mental aspects of the game.

I just wish we saw some improvement week to week. It's been downhill after the 1st quarter of the Texans game. Last week was a very difficult challenge for JP, but Rookie or not I expect him to perform better against this weak of a secondary. When you got Safeties playing Nickel you need to take advantage of it, right now we can't.

Yeah, well, that's not what the front office was saying and selling last spring.

look at big ben. his rookie season all he did was look incredible. he didn't miss wide open recievers...you can say that he is the exception and not the rule but i do not buy that par for the course means missing wide open recievers...
