coltrane34 Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Here is the link http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6781/news Sep 24 Mark Craig, of the Star Tribune, reports Minnesota Vikings RB Mewelde Moore is not a big fan of his former college teammate at Tulane, Buffalo Bills QB J.P. Losman. "I just didn't like the way he played ball the last two years at Tulane," Moore said. "You are what you are. He's a great player, and he'll be a great player once he plays total team ball and sells out for the team and not for himself." Moore indicated that Losman's selfishness affected Tulane's effectiveness as a team. "I wish the best to him. I just don't have any interest in playing with him," added Moore. Sour Grapes or Katrina fallout?
UConn James Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Piss off, Mewelde. And WTF kind of a name is Mewelde??? I hope his bitterness stems as much from something like J.P. led the charge in flicking spitballs at him in History 101 as it is that one of the above is a starting QB and one is a scrub RB (read: practice field tackling dummy).

The first 7 pages of "Mewelde" on my site all point to Mewelde Moore. Maybe she should have mewelded less.

Son of Jerry and Sandra Moore … Born Mewelde Jaem Cadere Moore on July 24, 1982, ... I wonder how many people ask him to, "Please - Spell That ?"

Formerly Allan in MD Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Big deal - could mean anything. Could even be that Mr. Moore even has a Keyshaan Johnson thing going for him "Just Give Me The Damn Ball," and JP didn't at some particular time or other.
Nanker Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Sour Grapes or Katrina fallout? 452445 He did the math and it told him that a Half back should get TWICE the attention of a Quarter back. So he's still annoyed that JP got more attention.
The Poojer Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 how dare he not like our savior and actually say what he feels!!!!!! what a bastige! lighten up folks, not everyone has to like evreyone else, life is not a youth soccer game! Most polite people would just defer from commenting. I imagine that JP will be asked about Moore's comments in an attempt to foment trash-talk and an ESPN-mediated feud. And I also imagine that JP will handle it by saying something like, "He feels the way he feels and I can't change that. Next question."

Kelly the Dog Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 The best response would be from T.O.'s book, "who's Mewelde Moore?" 452667 I just googled "Mewelde". The name is Swahili for "he who gets his strength, wisdom and knowledge from Mike Tice."

Was he selfish or was he just sick of running for his life behind his crappy O-line in Tulane?
