Yankeedawg Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 34-29 452396 Â Â Ho hum. Come on down and play us. Roll Tide!!!!! Quote
SDS Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 34-29 452396 Â What future Penn State busts will be at the top of the draft come April? Quote
Mikie2times Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 34-29 452396 Â It was a great game, and a good win for a program that desperately needs to get some victories against big ten teams. Penn State has some great young WR's and a defense that has looked good at times. But Northwestern is hardly the cream of the crop, and Penn State really should have lost this game. Â Robinson will make some spectacular plays but will also have plenty of meltdowns. As it stands the only big ten schools they can beat are Indiana, Northwestern, and Illinois. They have plenty of talent, but Paterno really needs to hang it up for this team to go anywhere. Quote
Chilly Posted September 24, 2005 Posted September 24, 2005 Ho hum. Come on down and play us. Roll Tide!!!!! 452400 Â Or us. Quote
billsfanmiami(oh) Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Boy, Northwestern is quite the team too.....lol just kidding it was a nice comeback win. Quote
Alaska Darin Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 Let us know when they beat somebody who isn't a perennial bottom dwellar. You know how far a program has fallen when they trumpet a comeback win over friggin' Northwestern. Â Nice uniforms. Quote

Like A Mofo Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 If you are saying Minnesota is fluff, they are hardly that... Â Im a PSU fan, granted, these arent big time wins, but the way things have gone over the last few years, at least PSU is winning games for once. Quote

(I'll be surprised if Purdue is even ranked after ND beats them next week) Maybe i am wrong, but nobody on Minnesota sticks out as a playmaker. They just come off as a team that has had an easy schedule so far. Quote
/dev/null Posted September 25, 2005 Author Posted September 25, 2005 what a bunch of haters. i figured if anybody would appreciate a down and out football team being able to enjoy a brief moment of victory, it would be bills fans Quote

Minnesota's Laurence Maroney is one of the better running backs in the country and he had 217 yards yesterday so I'm going to consider him a playmaker.  Penn State can talk all they want for another two weeks until OSU comes into town. It will be a great game, but Ohio State is going to come out on top. BTW, I am going to that game and I can't wait, it's going to be incredible. Quote
Adam Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 34-29 452396 Good- now the people with the 45 second attention spans will not make fools out of themselves anymore by calling for Paterno's retirement. SOmetimes that short attention span can be a good thing, I guess Quote
/dev/null Posted October 1, 2005 Author Posted October 1, 2005 Minnesota is a better team right now.. 452629  Not any more  Go Blue! Quote
40+ Year Bills Fan Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 Just saw this thread... HEY FOLKS PENN STATE 44 AND GOPHERS 14... Â PENN STATE IS LOOKING PRETTY GOOD TO ME AND I AM AND HAVE BEEN A PSU FAN FOR OVER 30 YEARS...living in columbus, Oh I wonder what the thoughts are of PSU playing OSU next weekend... Â Quote
Mikie2times Posted October 2, 2005 Posted October 2, 2005 I'll eat some crow for my post following the Northwestern game. First time in a long time Penn State has dominated a decent team like they did today. Don't rejoice yet though Penn State fans, the schedule looks brutal down the stretch. Quote
