Martha, Martha, Martha. With all of the craziness happening in the world, can't you place your energies into something that matters?

Who?

She's the lady who protested the Masters because they don't allow women as full-fledged members at the country club at Augusta.

...Focussing on the matters that matter. [/sarcasm]

"The woman is dressed provocatively and when she asks the player if he's ready, it's a double-entendre in my view," Burk told The CP.

I hope the provocatively dressed woman made the hockey player some dinner before the big game. Maybe that's the double-entendre, "Are you ready for your dinner?"

"She's in the ad as a groomer, a sex object.

And? Still waiting for your point Martha.

Aren't her 15 minutes up? Her increasingly desperate and shrill arguments should make for good unintentional comedy. But even a full court press by the NY Times couldn't make her relevant last time so I doubt this will generate much support.

"The commercial is clearly selling sex and violence..."

I don't buy that.

NHL spokeswoman Bernadette Mansur told The Canadian Press that was not the case.

"This ad shows no disrespect for women," Mansur told The CP. "On the contrary, the woman is the spiritual and physical trainer for the 'Warrior' and is his mentor."

And I don't buy that either. :(

I remember the protests at the Masters. There was a guy in the background holding up a giant sign that read: "Iron my shirt". It was funny as hell.
