MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 He should have said "we need to execute better."
jarthur31 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Speed deteriorates over time and nothing can be done about that. That doesn't mean that Eric should be dropping more balls now that he's older. And I'm not referring to this game either--just what's been happening the past 2-3 years.

It's definitely a disturbingly downward trend. Y - - - G-GS--No - Yds - Avg-Lg-TD->20->40-FD 1998--16-15-67-1368-20.4-84-9-22--8-54 1999--14-14-65--994-15.3-54-7-13--6-44 2000--16-16-94-1326-14.1-52-5-23--4-62 2001--16-16-67--904-13.5-80-5-13--5-42 2002--16-15-100-1292-12.9-70-10-14-6-64 2003--13-13--64--780-12.2-49-1-10--1-35 2004--16-16--88-1043-11.9-49-5-12--2-53 2005---2---2--5-----48--9.6-19-0--0--0-4 I have no problem with MM challenging the entire friggin squad to step it up.

It seems like he drops as many balls as he's caught the last couple years. Too bad JP can't even thread the needle right now to even give him a chance. I do think this offense will start putting up big points come mid season. The learning curve for this offense is gonna be a b-i-t-c-h though.

CoachChuckDickerson Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 Someone has to throw the ball to him instead of the sidelines. 449884[/snapback] Bingo.
