Ghost of BiB Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I've been asked a couple times about the baked beans recipe. It is now posted, curiously enough under "Beans".
KRC Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 It has been up for a few minutes. Has anyone rated it a 3 yet?
Ghost of BiB Posted September 19, 2005 Author Posted September 19, 2005 Note- I don't know how to edit the recipes, one should grind the spices just prior to making, not the day before.
UConn James Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Note 2 -- One should purchase one of these and some of these beforehand, and clear all public appearances from the schedule the day after. Tried the Biscuits with LA's Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes last week. Good eats.
VABills Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 3 hours to cook beans? Are you in Indiana where all laws of physics get thrown out the window?
KRC Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 3 hours to cook beans? Are you in Indiana where all laws of physics get thrown out the window? 446785 Actually, for baked beans, 3 hours is pretty quick. Usually, you bake them slowly, all day.
VABills Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Actually, for baked beans, 3 hours is pretty quick. Usually, you bake them slowly, all day. 446792 I didn't say whether that was too quick or too slow?
KRC Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I didn't say whether that was too quick or too slow? 446802 Your reference to Indiana implied that 3 hours took too long, ala Retatta.
Just Jack Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 It has been up for a few minutes. Has anyone rated it a 3 yet? 446732 I don't like baked beans so I'll just rate it a 1 without trying it.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Your reference to Indiana implied that 3 hours took too long, ala Retatta. 446817 But this is VABills. Three hours is a full day.

SDS Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 One of my many items on my "to do" list is to make all those dishes and take snapshots of each to post by the photo. Ideally, the submitter should be in each picture too, but maybe we don't want to ruin any appetites.

stuckincincy Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 I've been asked a couple times about the baked beans recipe. And I have become a contributor to global warming as a consequence...
