PTS Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Fired! Good old Joe Pendry. 446606 Poor guy, someone had to take the fall but they played the Bills and Steelers defense.

FanfromAlbany Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Fired! Good old Joe Pendry. 446606 Unreal! Wave so long to your career, David Carr.
JCBoston Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Joe Pendry! That's some crazy whacked-out schitt!

Dr. Fong Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 I'm sure that there's more to this firing than just underproduction in the first two weeks of the season, but jeez that seems a little premature. The Texans have faced two of the best defenses in the NFL in the first two weeks and their defense hasn't exactly lit it up either.
SouthernMan Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Joe Pendry! That's some crazy whacked-out schitt! 446887 Do you remember?: Pendry was a moron as an offensive coordinator when Rob Johnson was the QB. As soon as Flutie took over, started moving the ball and getting W's, Pendry was a genius and much sought after O-coordinator according to some reports.
IDBillzFan Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 ...and has been sacked 13 times already in 2005. If there is a such a thing as a Bledsoe-esque number...that's it. Thirteen freakin' sacks in two games? Bad things, man. Bad things.

Palmer has a decent history before the new Brown's stint. IMO he has a a pretty good football mind - the CLE clubs tried for run/pass balance, but I think there was a fair amount of front office ba-de-ba present. Dunno... Perhaps a native Clevelander can add simething here..
Hardy Pyle Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 The teams biggest problem is o-line, so they promote the o-line coach. Oh, the irony! They vouch for Palmer for 5 years and then after two games, fire him. ummmm...no one's panicking....right! How about firing the GM for a lack of talent on the team.

ganesh Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Fired! Good old Joe Pendry. 446606 Actually I think we had a decent offense with Pendry....The QB controversy just killed everyone otu there...
Amstel Posted September 19, 2005 Posted September 19, 2005 Joe Pendry= Jamming square pegs into round holes. He never fit his system to the players we had he put players into his system which didn't play totheir strengths

The Texans have spent their last 3 first round picks all on defensive players. They have ignored the chance of getting a young stud on the O-Line, who can grow and protect Carr. It is difficult to put all the blame on Palmer.
