Beerball Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 you want to run on 3rd and long? 446526 Where do you come up with this stojan? He pointed out that the Bills ran on first down 3 times the entire game. How does this lead you to ask a question about third and long? I get where you are coming from, but you are just flat our wrong, IMO. Coaching sucked big time this game. JP sucked just as badly.

Seems to me like we need to do more to get Willis firing early. Running on first down has got to be a must for this team.
Bill from NYC Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 WHY did the coaching staff use the old pass-pass-run combination so often this game? THAT is a recipe for 3 and out. 446351 Joe, you are SOOO friggin on the money here. Nirvjam commented to me during the game that it was like watching a Gilbride offense.
ganesh Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Or when the game plan sucks. 446049 I think what sucked was not adjusting the game plan....
ganesh Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 When they put 8 in the box against Pitt, Big Ben can hit an open receiver. JP had a bad game, why is that so hard to admit? 446065 The difference was the Steelers OL gives time for Big Ben to move around and throw to his receivers.....Our OL did not give JP any chance whatsover. Also, the steelers RUN the ball when there are 8 or 9 people in the box...and they RUN successfully.... We did neither....
YOOOOOO Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Losman was terrible Mcgahee was the same and the gameplan looked ass'd too Everyone can take the share of the blame.... This week Mcgahee has gotta pound it and take those 2-3 yard gains...sets us up with short 3rd downs......and Losman has to be more accurate with his passes... and if the gameplan coming into the game isnt working...better adjustments need to made..... I'd like to see 2 runs/1 pass every 3 downs this week...Let Mcgahee be the work horse this week...take the pressure off JP alil bit...
kasper13 Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 People can lay the blame wherever they choose. It does no good at all. Bills lost and now they are moving on to the next game. Why do they care what people think and who was to blame for the loss? I don't really think they do at all. Win as a team, lose as a team.
erynthered Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 It's ok... we all knew before the season began that JP would have some bad games. Last week was one of them. Time to move on. 447585 Stop that, you're making to much sense. Go Bills.
