Fezmid Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I never liked the throwbacks with the white helmets - we look like the Colts from a distance. CW
buffalo mike Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 yes- I was surprised not even a home game. Bury em'.
seq004 Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 You guys are nuts if you think our current unis look better than the throwbacks you are defintely in the minority.
seq004 Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 They're gone until next year. 445073 I doubt that.
VABills Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I never liked the throwbacks with the white helmets - we look like the Colts from a distance. CW 445028 That's what I said last week.
EC-Bills Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I doubt that. 445079 Actually, I think they are. We could wear them for one home and one away game this year.
seq004 Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Actually, I think they are. We could wear them for one home and one away game this year. 445088 I just can't see them using their very first two games for that. My quess is they will wear them at least 1 more time this year and they will be worn in all 16 games next year. The players really like them and so maybe the Bills said screw it and let the NFL fine us or it's going to be a situation like with San Fran in 1994 when the league pretty much gave in and they wore them most of the year.
Fezmid Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 That's what I said last week. 445083 Missed that, sorry. I'd like to see the throwbacks with the modern helmet. CW
Grant Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 That's what I said last week. 445083 Funny, I made this same observation six months ago and was blasted pretty viciously for the comparison.
DieHardFan Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Actually, I think they are. We could wear them for one home and one away game this year.445088 Actually, per TD interview on radio pregame last week we could wear them for any two games this year per NFL. Pretty stupid to use them up this early in the season and to blow the second on an away game.
Buffal0 Bill5 Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Swap a charging Buffalo for a grazing Buffalo, and the throwbacks are the perfect uniform for my viewing pleasure. It would have left me thinking today, "man that game sucked, but they sure looked nice in those unis."
Mike32282 Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I just can't see them using their very first two games for that. Losing in them makes me not like them as much. I still prefer the Bills home unis. They look nicer, especially with the blue pants. The new aways can go, but the homes are sweet.
Fan in San Diego Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 Ok I forget this completely. There is no place like home. There is no place like home. As I click my heels in ruby slippers !

Adam Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 yes- I was surprised not even a home game. Bury em'. 445064 better than those horrible purple jerseys
Ramius Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 I just can't see them using their very first two games for that. As for me, i'm glad they are gone...i like them for a game a year, but you are smoking something if you want them brought back permanently...as for the minority, yah the majority on the board like the throwbacks better, but most Bills fans i know and my friends know still like our current unis better...
SilverNRed Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 NOW can we agree to forget about converting, to the throwbacks permanently?? No. The uniforms were the best part of the game today.
VABills Posted September 18, 2005 Posted September 18, 2005 No. The uniforms were the best part of the game today. 445324 And the other thing people want to get rid of, Josh Reed.
