SDS Posted September 17, 2005 Share Posted September 17, 2005 LAMBEAU LEADER: In Green Bay’s home opener this Sunday against Cleveland, Packers quarterback BRETT FAVRE can establish the NFL record for most touchdown passes thrown by a player in a single stadium. Favre (178) needs three more TD passes in Lambeau Field to top the 180 mark set by JOHN ELWAY in Denver’s Mile High Stadium. Since becoming Green Bay’s starting quarterback in Week 4 of 1992, Favre has thrown for 23 TDs in the Pack’s past 12 home openers. He has thrown at least one TD pass in each of those 12 games.
