Rico Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 During the intros, Mick announced that the Stones will be playing the halftime show at the Super Bowl this year. Then he said "Maybe the Jets and Giants will be there too, but I wouldn't bet too much on that."

Rico Posted September 16, 2005 Author Posted September 16, 2005 I think that's a slam on both of them. 442709 It was, but I thought the Jets slam was funnier myself.
The Dean Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Re: MJ and the Stones: If I want to see an aging queen prance around onstage to oldies, I'll watch a Richard Simmons video. PRetty funny comment about the Jersey teams, though.

Much different from opening night (tighter, looser, different set list)?
DieHardFan Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Letterman had a good one last night also. [Paraphrasing here.] Claimed that Clinton and Old Bush's next mercy mission stop would be the Jets Locker Room.

Setlists aren't being mixed up much at all, they're too busy rocking! LOUD guitars are back!
Rico Posted September 16, 2005 Author Posted September 16, 2005 If I want to see an aging queen prance around onstage to oldies, I'll watch a Richard Simmons video. 442723 And you probably would.
