Johnny Coli Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 I'll post this again because it got buried in POOJER's thread... Hasselbeck at home against Atlanta Warner at home against St.Louis The big question is stay safe and put in Hasselbeck coming off a mediocre performance in week one (and facing a decent Atlanta defense), or go with a risky hunch that this could be a huge game for Warner (I said "could") at home against an average StL defense? Warner spread it around quite a bit last week, and with these two lame defenses (ie StL and Arz) it could be a shootout between Warner and Bulger. Also, center Alex Stepanovich comes back for 'Zona this week, maybe helping out the running game and pass protection. Then again, Hasselbeck is playing at home against an Atlanta team coming off a huge Monday night win. Clearly, it sounds like I'm leaning towards taking a major risk in starting Warner, but I'm looking for the more knowledgable of you to talk me out of it . What say you? Quote
BuffOrange Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Yeah, I think I'd roll the dice with Warner - the Rams defense on the road is just brutal. You never know Hasselbeck might have a good game, but Seattle had a tough time beating Atlanta's backups at the end of last year if I recall. Quote
Chilly Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 What say you? 442366[/snapback] On the sole count of the indictment, shittiness this NFL week in the first degree, we find the defendent, Matt Hasselbeck, guilty. (play Warner) Quote
