Albany,n.y. Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Ch 6 is covering NE-Car instead of the Bills @ Tampa Bay. I can't remember the last time NE got picked over the Bills around here, including the NBC years (I've been around Albany since 1988). It's always been either Bills or Jets, talk about bandwagons
Gavin in Va Beach Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 That's bullschit! Gather the Albany Bills Backers and storm the station! Demand action!
Ghost of BiB Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 That just doesn't seem right, though. Does Albany have that strong a Pat's fan base? Both will be great games (I hope) but the Bills are the only true NY team (a fact often forgotten). If they were to not play the Bills, I'd expect the Pittsburgh game, not the Pats. Maybe the Jets-Miami. The Pats?
XNorthBuffaloLad Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 It shouldn't matter what game your local affiliates select ... Any BILLS fan should have DIRECTV and NFL Sunday Ticket ... Watching the BILLS is a necessity, not a luxury. It's like having food on the table, a roof over your head, etc etc I live in Southern California, and if I had to depend on the local Los Angeles affiliates to show the BILLS on TV, I'd rarely ever see them play ...
AlbanyBillsFan25 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 That sucks but im going to go to the bar anyway and watch. Im just glad the edge is going to play the games on the radio sometimes i have to work sundays
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 At least we in the Albany area are getting the Falcons vs Bills game in Week 3. Although it took a FOX broadcast for us to see our first Bills game of the year.
