ExWNYer Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Tropical Storm Jeann, expected to be a hurricane by early Saturday, heading this way! http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/graphics/AT11/...GIF/141458W.gif 30939 Enough's enough...you guys have been thru enough stevestojan to last a lifetime. Good luck...here's hoping it bypasses you.
WWVaBeach Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Tropical Storm Jeann :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Jeann!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sick of Hurricane season, and we've only had to deal with one minor storm in Va Beach! My 100th Post!!!
CajunBillsBacker Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 I predict Jeanne to endup near the Ga/SC border. As for Ivan, If Ivan continues it's NW path for the next 12 hours, it'll be in my backyard! Alot of the experts are starting to do away with their original prediction of an eastern turn because something happened to the trough that was supposed to steer it.
sweet baboo Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 jeanne looks to be weak or am i wrong
T-Bone Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 another storm and you still can not catch a break with the TSW powers that be...for shame to all you guys who will not cut stevestojan a break.
CajunBillsBacker Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 jeanne looks to be weak or am i wrong 30959 Jeanne just got started this morning, she'll be catagory 2 by Friday.
stevestojan Posted September 14, 2004 Author Posted September 14, 2004 jeanne looks to be weak or am i wrong 30959 is weak now. If she stays on path an hits the US, wont be by then. Just started up, only 40-some MPH.. by Saturday will be a Cat1 at least, and that least 3 or 4 more days until FLA... "The Sunshine State"
aussiew Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 is weak now. If she stays on path an hits the US, wont be by then. Just started up, only 40-some MPH.. by Saturday will be a Cat1 at least, and that least 3 or 4 more days until FLA... Typical woman - starting slowly and ending up wild and dangerous.
WWVaBeach Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Went from 40mph @ 11:00am to 50mph @ 2:00pm. http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/tracking/at200411.html I said it before...I'll say it again... :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Jeanne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rico Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 I think Jeanne was more powerful than Samantha, and that Major Nelson could've kicked Durwood's butt in.
stuckincincy Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 I think Jeanne was more powerful than Samantha, and that Major Nelson could've kicked Durwood's butt in. 31140 Yes Master.
silvermike Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 "Why don't I live in Buffalo anymore? The weather of course!" How many times have you guys heard that one? I'm glad I'm not leaving!
kasper13 Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 Jeanne sounds like a gay french hurricane. It will be nothing more than a light breeze and a drizzle by the time it gets to the USA.
DC Tom Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 Tropical Storm Jeann, expected to be a hurricane by early Saturday, heading this way! http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/graphics/AT11/...GIF/141458W.gif 30939 Jeanne's going to miss Florida, hit SC, and be little more than a Category 2 when it does. Compared to what this hurricane season's already produced...

Compared to what this hurricane season's already produced... 31817 well, that cat2 frances left me without power for 8 days, and the place i was staying at for 5. I'd rather not do that again! but, you're right. It could be worse. I could be in New Orleans right now. Andthe funny (morbid funny, not haha funny) thing is that i told my family that if Ivan was coming to south Florida, I was gonna drive to New Orleans and make a mini-vacation out of it. Good thing i didnt take a pre-emptive strike!
TigerJ Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 I think there's a good chance Jeanne curves east before it has a chance to hit the US coast. It might be a threat to Bermuda.
