MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 i dont know travis wasnt even the featured back yesterday and he had a fumble already!god i am sooo glad he is gone! go bills in"05 Even with multiple fumbles, Travis would have been a major upgrade for the Cards. Way to handle negotiations, Denny.
Phlegm Alley Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 A lot of people say that JJ Arrington is going to end up being ROY. Different uniforms, same Cardinals.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 A lot of people say that JJ Arrington is going to end up being ROY. Who actually said that?
Rubes Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Henry? Screw that. If they only had Shelton....
Like A Mofo Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 If Travis Henry could have played some special teams, then yes.
Sound_n_Fury Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Ah, Denny Green, that master poker player... he sure showed up TD on draft day.... 438385 Denny needs a new secretary...
Dennis in NC Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 You guys should see the hilarious ad for a Tucson Ford dealer. The dealer is yelling out "Free Cardinals tickets! Free Cardinals tickets!" Denny Green comes up and says, "why are you giving tickets away, when the Cards are pushin' for the playoffs?!" Pretty damned funny, just the thought of it...
Simon Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 JJ Arrington is the least of the Cards problems. He was a real player at Cal and should be a player in the NFL as well. Yesterday he only carried the ball 7-8 times and did nothing behind that atrocious OLine. Shipp had about the same number of carries and only picked up about 10 yrds. The rest of their backs also did squat and things aren't going to get much better for any of them unless the OLine reinvents itself or Green figures out a way to use those 3 good receivers to spread people out and create space up front w/o getting Warner killed. Travis Henry wouldn't have helped them a bit. Cya
Bflojohn Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Actually, they could have used Mike Gandy, Bennie Anderson, Trey Teague, Duke Preston, and Mike Williams!!! The offensive line for the Cardinals is just THAT... OFFENSIVE!!!
Bill from NYC Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 In a word YES! Every team needs a lost fumble, 35 yards and no receptions from a back. I wonder who was in the backfield when McNair got sacked 3 times?
buffaloboyinATL Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I hate to cheer against a young player like Arrington, but after Green was flappin' his lips about not needing Henry because he got a stud in the draft etc. etc. I am going to enjoy their crappy season a bit more than usual.
IDBillzFan Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 These KFFL Updates crack me up sometimes. Who the hell is Darren Urban and what the hell is the East Valley Tribune and who the !@#$ cares what he has to say? I'm waiting for the next KFFL Update to look like this: Bills l McGahee Injury ConcerningMon, 12 Sep 2005 19:54:55 -0700 Simon of Two Bills Drive reports that seeing Bills RB Willis McGahee on the ground after a stinger against the Texans made him put a burrito in his speedo.
ch19079 Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Damn JJ Arrington is GOOD! LMMFAO! 438392 he is. i expect him to do alot this season. finishing second for offensive rookie of the year. he didnt get that many carries. and that offense is a passing offense. they had some injuries on the O-Line, and have a pass happy offense. he will show his stuff, and eventually be the full time starter.
stuckincincy Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Even with multiple fumbles, Travis would have been a major upgrade for the Cards. Way to handle negotiations, Denny. 438409 I think so, too. He was 10 for 35 on Sunday - not bad, but that's the way often it goes, until a rb breaks one for longer yards to up the average.
ganesh Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 But then we would have been stuck with Shelton at LT at 2M a year...
ch19079 Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 But then we would have been stuck with Shelton at LT at 2M a year... 438857 wasnt he cut by the cards. signed by a team, then cut again??
