LabattBlue Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 I appreciate the fact that WM is trying to do whatever he can to get an extra yard, but if he wants to have a long career in the NFL, he has to stop trying to hurdle defenders. I thought for sure he had another knee injury, the way it buckled when they showed the replay. I'll keep my fingers crossed Willis!

One thing it does say, however, is that he himself has zero fear about his legs. And frankly, I don't really recall a lot of serious injuries to running backs caused on plays like that. A LOT of times backs seem to be shaken up on those kinds of hurdles, but I don't see a lot of ACLs or other major injuries on leaps.

Beerball Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 He skeered the shiat out of me again. Better knock that stuff off.
drnykterstein Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Same thing with JP every time he scrambles. Scares be a ton, the whole time he runs I'm just hoping he doesn't get hurt.
