Buffan00 Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Is the MAN BAAAAABY! Nice catch big guy! 436603 Yeah, that was sweet!! Hope we use him more often!
Frez Posted September 11, 2005 Author Posted September 11, 2005 Would love to see him line up at the TE spot.
Frez Posted September 11, 2005 Author Posted September 11, 2005 Didn't he? 436689 He might have, but I thought I heard them say he was OL eligible.
/dev/null Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 He might have, but I thought I heard them say he was OL eligible. 436697 Tackle Eligible
jarthur31 Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I still don't understand why the team didn't keep him as a TE.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I still don't understand why the team didn't keep him as a TE. Because he's more valuable as a potential starting LT. And he can still be used as a TE, which it sounds (I didn't see the game) like he was today, for short-yardage/redzone situations.
Fezmid Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Tackle Eligible 436733 Has to be tackle eligable, basead on his number. CW
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Has to be tackle eligable, basead on his number. Didn't he line up as a TE in pre-season?
Fezmid Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Didn't he line up as a TE in pre-season? 436742 Might have -- but every play that he does, he has to reprot to the referees, because he has an OL number. CW
seadog Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 What a great athelete to be that big and fast and get off the ground. He can play tackle, tight end and is great on special teams
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Is the MAN BAAAAABY! Nice catch big guy! 436603 JP Squared is what we start calling that play. What a leap by the big guy. I was also pleased with the play of Duke Preston looked like he did a very nice job.

And why he wasn't discussed during the offseason when they were talking about the risk of our TE's not making full recoveries? (I'm not doubting the explanation, I'm genuinely puzzled.)
Simon Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 But, but, but, but Central VA Bills said he TOTALLY sucks and is the worst OL/TE he's EVER seen and will NEVER be able to play in this league!!! And he's the GREATEST high school football coach of ALL TIMES while everybody else is just an idiotic MORON!!!!!!!

Like I said, I think for short-yardage and redzone situations, he's fine, but that's a small part of what a TE needs to be able to do.
