Trading McGahee isn't even an option.  Think about it, why would we spend the 21st pick in the draft  so two years later we could get the Dolphins first pick (which may or may not be lower than 21st).  If the Dolphins had the 10 pick in next year's draft we'd have moved up 11 spots in the draft by waiting TWO YEARS!  That my friend, is not value.  A wait of one year generally gives you a 1st round pick in the next years draft if you give up a 2nd round pick this year...you want to wait two years and move up a few spots?  It makes no sense.

And nobody is giving up more than one 1st rounder for WM.

We wait and see if Willis is a superstar, if he is the gamble worked.  If he isn't it failed, simple as that.

Well, if you believe what TD said after the 2003 draft, the Bills had targeted Chris Kelsay, and one or two other DE's as their first pick. When their pick came up, based on what had gone on that day, they were confident that one of the DE's would fall to them in the second round. He reasoned that picking McGahee was worth the gamble. IMO, TD always seems to have one eye on next season. He had already extended Henry's contract at a very low amount, and he was getting McGahee (targeted by most as top 5 pick, pre-injury) dirt cheap as well. Not only could he save money, but, IMO, he had to figure, one of them would be a very attractive piece of trade bate to a RB desperate team, because their salary would be low, and salary cap friendly. In the NFL you can rarely trade a franchise type player, because of the salary cap implications. TD seems to love to make trades involving 1st round draft picks. He seems to always be aware that somebody "ain't gonna be here next year" and prepares in advance. Just think, drafting Jake Reed, because he knew Peerless Price was as good as gone the following year.

Buffalo is a dying city.. it should never be a surprise to any of you when you hear that an athlete wants out, especially if his desired destination would be a metropolis like Miami. C'mon, who here in their right mind would choose Buffalo and a back-up role to Miami and a starting role? You're a deutsch bag if you picked the former.
