stevestojan Posted September 10, 2005 Share Posted September 10, 2005 Watching the previews to this movie, you'd think it would be scary... well, the commericial showed about 90% of anything that might have been considered scary. The rest of the movie is set in a courtroom, and the basis of the story (true or not) is absolutely ridiculous. Save your money, go watch some penguins waddle around. Seems that there hasnt been a really good one since The Thing and the third Alien movie. The Ring was ok but the only thing close to the 80s classics. One remake that was way better than the original. Try to check out the uncut version of "High Tension" (or Haute Tension in french) You'd like that if you liked Dawn of the Dead. The first hour of High Tension rocked. The surprise ending was a little flaky. But make sure to get the uncut version. One word" GORY" Gotta say the first "Ring" was the best horror movie in about 10 years. And it is pretty good on multiple levels. Like the best horror films, it has a message in it too.
