MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 At the very BEST you could say it was a "catch" under the Bert Emanuel rule, i.e. where the receiver has his hands around the ball and is in control even though it touches the ground, but since the ball moved, it's a non-catch. And it's a stupid rule. The ball should not be allowed to touch the ground, period.
BRH Posted September 9, 2005 Author Posted September 9, 2005 Finally some pressure up the middle and you see what happens: Brady becomes very very average.
mtdoak Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I like that one 434400 Â Anyone think that Brady is going to struggle against good Defenses this year? I could pick apart the raiders d and i struggle throwing the ball 10 yards.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Because no human could tell the difference on borderline cases; it is a very stupid rule. Almost as stupid as the "tuck" rule, you know, the one where you can be bring the ball back TO your body and still be considered to be in the act of throwing it forward?

434409 Or the rule where you can be unconscious lying out of bounds but still be considered to be in possession of the football?  Or the rule where you can catch a pass on fourth down short of the marker AND out of bounds but still be entitled to a first down? Â
TheMadCap Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Holding left side...no call. 434401 Â Â What I love is when they show a good closeup of two Patsie OL-men holding one guy, while Madden ball washes them for thier great protection...
Tux of Borg Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I like that one 434400 Â One more video before i head off to work. Again, takes a minute to load. Â Video #2
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Madden's gone next year, right? If so, thank god! He's sucked for years, and that PREDATES the Brady tongue rectal.
AJ1 Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 You gotta be kidding me Moss. 434408  Too busy getting ready to juke/berate/make faces at the defender to catch the ball.
AJ1 Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Corey's brought his Cinci game tonight. Hope that continues all season.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Hopefully he brings his Cinci attitude. Earlier in the game it looked like he had it.
/dev/null Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 anybody else catch the Grant Irons sighting?
Simon Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Hey, maybe now the Raidahs will quit running those stupid-assed 1WR sets.
BRH Posted September 9, 2005 Author Posted September 9, 2005 Nice clothesline by Harrison. No call either.
