BillnutinHouston Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Ticket 760 (SA sports radio station) and the local NBC affiliate are both reporting tonight that the Saints-Bills game WILL be in SA. The Alamodome abruptly cancelled a "Homebuilder's Expo" that was scheduled for the weekend of Oct 2nd. An official announcement about the game should come tomorrow. It is believed that while the Saints-Bills game will be in SA, not all their games will be due to some Alamodome events being non-cancellable. SA is after the NFL in a bad way and the team is of course headquartered there with their families at this time. SA is the closest the Saints can get to a home game this year, so this makes sense.

jarthur31 Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Damn, I wish this game were at the Ralph. We need all the "easier" wins we can get.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Damn, I wish this game were at the Ralph. We need all the "easier" wins we can get. It doesn't make much difference. The Saints weren't going to be any good this year anyway, and playing outside of the Superdome, even though it's a "home game" in SA, won't help them much.

Rico Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I'm cool with this. Now, if the Felons would've gotten another home game on October 30th, that would've been different.
30dive Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I'm in favor of the league and/or the Saints just making a decision.
