ch19079 Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 a little question. i remember the team buying up the remaining tickets to lift a blackout a few years ago. my memory SUCKS, so can yall help me... was it the team who baught the tickets, if so, who did they pay? was it another company? do yall even remember this? i think it was during the holidays, maybe thanksgiving weekend.....

smokinandjokin Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Sometimes a business will buy them, like Tops or M&T or something. Other times, Ralph buys them and then donates the tickets to hospitals or to family of the military, etc. It wasn't all that long ago that this happened....usually if there's about 2500 seats or less remaining, someone will step up and buy them.
