PromoTheRobot Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 ...that the Bills lost 2 Super Bowls to "who-the-f**k-are-they?" QB's: Jeff Hostetler and Mark Rypian. These guys were selling insurance soon after. Remember DEFENSE (and Special Teams) WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!! PTR
CoachChuckDickerson Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Week 4, Kelly Holcomb. I'll save room on the bandwagon for the rest of you.

PTR 433694 PTR agree that Giants won on Defense but from my view the Redskins team lead by Rypian that year was a very potent offense. True were are they now! But I agree with your main point that DEFENSE and Special Teams Wins Championships but do need a QB that isn't making huge mistakes.
BuckeyeBill Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Rypien had a career year that year. Would have been an amazing fantasy quarterback if memory serves. He couldn't do anything wrong, and rode that hot streak all the way to the Superbowl. Hostetler didn't win the Superbowl for the Giants... the Bills lost it fair and square.
kota Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Week 4, Kelly Holcomb. I'll save room on the bandwagon for the rest of you. 433697 Ok then by week 5 it will be JP again because Holcomb will be hurt. Holcomb could never keep a starting job because he always got hurt.
Nanker Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Isn't it a little late to be posting about "before we get hung up on the QB position..."?
