Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...2.13994b60.html 433661 I was gonna say... as sorry as I feel for these people, there is NO WAY I'm inviting them into my home.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dw...2.13994b60.html 433661 But in defense of the refugees, this is probably NOT the first time this guy molested a 13-year old girl.
ExiledInIllinois Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 This thread will have it share of crap being thrown and maybe rightly so. This will probably be the last thing said in this thread that doesn't innvolve hatred and contempt. Pasted from the article: "As heart-wrenching as these evacuees are, and as wonderful as it is to see the outpouring of support, when we invite anybody in our home, we have no idea what their background is," Ms. Donovan said. "As parents, if we open up our home, we need to put up conditions and boundaries. We need to not leave our children alone." Authorities said never leave children or other vulnerable family members with the people staying in their homes. They urged people to be cautious. Police also said that most people would not take advantage of their generosity.

Crap Throwing Monkey Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Odds are, he still gets his debt card. 433711 Even better...he gets free housing, three squares a day, and better health and dental care as a prisoner than we as private citizens get.
Britbillsfan Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 With so many people displaced you are going to get a few turds that float to the surface, and there plenty of those pretty much everywhere you go.
blzrul Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 With so many people displaced you are going to get a few turds that float to the surface, and there plenty of those pretty much everywhere you go. 433775 Exactly so. Sadly, we will probably read about a family of evacuees being taken in only to have their children molested by their hosts. sh-- heads come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages and from all social classes.

Lets all be thankful for what WE (as individuals) have!
don_of_manhattan Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 With so many people displaced you are going to get a few turds that float to the surface, and there plenty of those pretty much everywhere you go. 433775 Exactly - the practive of protecting our children has to be enacted in ALL situations.
Chef Jim Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 sh-- heads come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages and from all social classes. 433784 This is so true. As a matter of fact you've referred to us "wingnuts" of all different shapes, sizes, colors and ages sh--heads in one form or another.
MichFan Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 I also wonder what it will be like when these families who have opened up their homes to evacuees decide it is time for them to move on. My instinct if I were single would be to house evacuees. Having a wife and children I couldn't justify taking the risk.

That's not to say I wouldn't though!

/dev/null Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 the refugee may not even have been a total stranger, he was a distant relative... Mr. Murray is a distant relative of the girl, police said. Police didn't know the exact relationship.
VABills Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 He'll probably be found innocent because Bush forced the hurricane to cause him mental anguish.
Chilly Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 He'll probably be found innocent because Bush forced the hurricane to cause him mental anguish. 435449 Yo momma caused me mental anguish. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (They didn't let me off the hook tho)
UConn James Posted September 10, 2005 Posted September 10, 2005 Yo momma caused me mental anguish. 435472 Donchubetalkin'boutmymomma! ----- Sad story, along with the ones at the Superdome. But I hope the few incidents like this don't stop people from giving other people a helping hand.
