Sunday September 11- Houston at Buffalo

The era of J.P. Losman begins.  Drew Bledsoe’s shuffle out of Buffalo was quicker than his escapability in the passing pocket.  Tom Clements was a mobile CFL quarterback, and I’ll be curious to see what he tries to do with Losman.

Mike Mularkey will have noticed what Pittsburgh did last year with Big Ben, and he’s got Willis McGahee to carry the load.  Meanwhile, the Texans need David Carr to finally have a breakthrough year.  It might help if they could block, or if Chris Palmer could use a passing game that develops quicker - remember when he was with the Browns?  Pick: Bills

LOCK OF THE WEEK: Buffalo over Houston.

I love it when the "experts" give us a lock. When I younger I would call the free pick lines and also pay for service plays. Looking back I could have saved a lot of money if I just made my own picks. That same guy is probably giving the Texans as his lock in the Houston area.

The Houston area? This is an NFL UK odds maker!

Sounds like those limey bastards know what they're talking about!

The USA Today Sports Weekly, picked the Texans to win, 16-13!

They say that the Texans are "built to stop the run" and that Willis will have a long day. They also cite Losmans' blah performance in the last two pre-season games, as reasons for concern.

The fools! I say the Bills win 21-10 (with one defensive TD included) I was going to say 24-10, but that would mean we would have to kick a field goal at some point!
