1billsfan Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 We have a solid veteran defense that by all accounts thinks of itself as the top defense in the NFL. Well if this is the case then the pressure for the win or loss falls squarely on their shoulders. They can't be thinking that "Hey, the offense needs to march down the field and score some points!". No, sorry guys, doesn't work that way. When you think your the best defense in the league and you have a green-as-can-be QB in JP Losman on the other side of the ball, you HAVE to shorten the field for them. You HAVE to get sacks, you HAVE to get turnovers and you HAVE to be great on third downs. Sorry, but this one rides on you guys, you know..."the BEST defense in the league".
