Mile High Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I just got off the phone with my dad and he told me that on the news tonight in Buffalo that Mularkey said the team was going to bring in a kicker to work out this week. I wonder who? My guess is Todd France. Tampa Bay article on kicking problem.

Frez Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 We could all see that Lindell stunk, why did they wait until 6 days before the home opener? Really makes you wonder..............
Albany,n.y. Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 The clock is ticking fast. Once Lindell plays, he's guaranteed $825,000 for the year. They better move if they want France because Baltimore & Tennessee are interested in him & Tennessee has some bum as their kicker. I don't know what's up with Baltimore wanting to bring France in for a tryout. Here's Tennessee's kicker Rob Bironas: http://www.titansonline.com/team/players/bio.php?PRKey=295

We can only hope that someone kicks Lindell out of his spot.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 My guess is Todd France. I heard it WAS France. I told y'all I saw him at the Buffalo airport.
Beerball Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I heard it WAS France. I told y'all I saw him at the Buffalo airport. 430386 I dislike the French and am opposed to this signing.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I dislike the French and am opposed to this signing. In lieu of a number change, I heard he'll instead be changing his last name to "Freedom."
stuckincincy Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I dislike the French and am opposed to this signing. 430392 But if he was signed, every time he misses, we could exclaim "Sacre blew!".
MattyT Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Elling maybe? He was just released by the Vikes. I think he may have a hip injury though.

TigerJ Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I read on the Billszone and the Range that WGR reports the Bills are giving a tryout to Todd France, recently cut by the Buccaneers. France actually outkicked the guy Gruden kept, but Gruden opted for experience. France kicked in NFL Europe. Oops, I see someone else beat me to it. Disregard this post.
nick in* england Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 France was a good NFLE Kicker. We could do worse than to risk signing him over Lindell.

brihs2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Hmmm, his NFL E numbers don't look too great from 30-39 (don't get me wrong much better than Lindell), that being said, does anyone know if its a windy day at the ralph? i would feel a lot more confident if we signed him after watching him kick in at least windy conditions.
