Frez Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 The NFL announced that the Saints-Giants game will be played on Monday, September 19 as part of a nationally televised doubleheader. Originally scheduled for September 18 at the Louisiana Superdome, the contest was moved to Giants Stadium due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. Commissioner Paul Tagliabue announced the switch Friday. The game now will begin at 7:30 p.m. EDT and be televised by ABC, then switched to ESPN at 9 p.m, when ABC goes to the regularly scheduled game between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys.
