Dante Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Given the schedule, our fragile offense and seemingly 50/50 chance at the Bills making the playoffs, there is little margin for error. I mean, we can't afford to lose "winnable" games like this one against the Texans. It's tough when you are in the same division as the Super Bowl winners all the time. It's almost like your starting the season off at 0-2. Not that im a pessimist but just trying to be realistic.

I said last years opener was a must win and it turned out we really needed that game at the end. I say every game vs the AFC is a must win. The opener will set the pace if we win.

So, hells yeah, it's must win. I'd also prefer we win when we wear our "Bills" jerseys this year instead of the "Broncos" jerseys we've been wearing most of the time lately.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 The Texans are the sux0r.....cannot lose to them.
EC-Bills Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 We are so screwed this game. If only TD hadn't released RB Dante Brown...

I say something like 4-2 or there upon.

'nuff said.
stevestojan Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Don't worry. I GUARENTEE a win against the Texans.
Frez Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Don't worry. I GUARENTEE a win against the Texans. 430026 gimmie the 5.5 points?
mead107 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 yes,the first win will set the tone for the rest of the season .
Tom Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Don't worry. I GUARENTEE a win against the Texans. And I GUARANTEE a win against the Texans.
DeeRay Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 And I GUARANTEE a win against the Texans. 430060 AND I GUARANTEE A SELLOUT!!
stevestojan Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 And I GUARANTEE a win against the Texans. 430060 never guaranteed i didn't go to public school...
gantrules Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I haven't even seen this team play a real game together. Hard for me to call anything a must win b/c for all I know they could go 2-14.
Corp000085 Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Based on last year's week one, i'd say that this game is a must win... Just think if Clements would have knocked that 4th down pass away, the bills would have been a wild card team

I certainly agree it is important, and would really ease a lot of fears about the rest of the season, but I think this is one of those occasions where it's fair to say "must win" is an overused term.
