Thailog80 Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Thanks.....Pretty much as suspected but I thought Gause would make it.
wil1226 Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 Did another team sign George Gause? I thought he at least deserved to be on the practice squad.
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 That does seem strange that Gause was not included. Maybe he declined the offer?
Dan Gross Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Thanks.....Pretty much as suspected but I thought Gause would make it. 429706 Yeah, looks like they covered their "depth" areas...2 more OL, another DE and 2 DB's. No WR's.
BillsWatch Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Seven of the players from last cut and one (Rob Lee) from an earlier cut. 2 DBs, a DE from roster last year, a FB, a LB, 2 OL and a TE. No players cut from other teams.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Nice to see McFarland back, I thought he was actually pretty decent when he did see action. And trust me, Goldsberry WILL be our starting FB whenever Shelton decides to hang it up.
Steven in MD Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 When did the PS rules change? I did not know Ritzmann and MacFarland qualified since they were on the 53 man roster last season (so I thought!)

Less than nine games and you are still eligible for the PS.
PISSCHUNK Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=3351 429705 Thought they really liked George Gause and Therrian Fontenot. Late

cåblelady Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Thought they really liked George Gause and Therrian Fontenot. Late 429730 I thought they really liked Drew Haddad. That's what I get for thinking. I'm buying JR some velcro.
EC-Bills Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Thanks.....Pretty much as suspected but I thought Gause would make it. 429706 Same here. Go figure.

TC in St. Louis Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 They gotta keep Gause. I'm thinking maybe they have a side deal with him to put him on the squad when Roscoe Parrish comes in and they cut one of the WR's.
Matt in KC Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 They gotta keep Gause. I'm thinking maybe they have a side deal with him to put him on the squad when Roscoe Parrish comes in and they cut one of the WR's. 429979 So why not sign him to the PS and let him practice w the team? Also, do you think he was clearly better than Ritzmann? In what way?
TC in St. Louis Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 I think they wanted to keep an extra guy on the squad, and get Gause on board. I also realize I'm probably wrong, but it doesn't make any sense to let him go and keep some of these other dudes.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted September 6, 2005 Posted September 6, 2005 Another Kutztowner! It's a powerhouse of football, I tell ya!
