Sorry if I remain too optomistic for some, but I for one like these odds. Yeah, I know- what's the odds of Oakland beating New England...... tune in for the opener. If one of the three players covering Wilford on the last play of the Jags game had of made a play on the ball we would have been 1-0 after week 1 last year and would have made the playoffs. Long, bellowing laughs that shall be heard all the way in Boston. That being said, Oakland is going to get CRUSHED by the Patriots in Week One. The Raiders are looking directly at a 7-9 season. Collins throws a nice deep ball, so if Moss is on track for that game the Pats could be ripe for the upset. That would be a great way to start the season!
