EndicottDave Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 78 yards in penalties and red zone turnovers were the difference in the game. If the offense can't manage at least 17 points per game, this season's record will not be much better and hopes for a wild-card berth will be dim. The defense was solid all game until the last few completions which was the difference in the W or the L. The game would have never been close had the offense executed in the red-zone including the penalty which caused the punt instead of field goal attempt. This was not a team loss. It was an offensive unit loss not unlike many of the losses last year. Dave from Endicott now in Palm Beach FL
