Frez Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I'm glad to see him make the team. I see him getting better every game this year if he gets some playing time! Special teams or whatever!
BillnutinHouston Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I agree. I remember when we discuss Peters being a project at LT, and we were all skeptical. Good for him that he made it.
Nanker Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Me too. Although I hope we get to see him playing some TE. I think he'd be the best TE specialist since Butch Rolle. That might be too much to ask for. He's a demon on ST and that's the key to a lot of guys making this squad.

It will take some time, but before the end of the year it could, and I think will happen.

I'm just not sure whether or not to get excited or not.
Astrobot Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I think he'll be able to do TE-like things from the LT spot, if he reports as tackle eligible. This adds another thing for D's to gameplan for. I can't wait for this guy to get his shot--probably next year.
EndZoneCrew Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I knew this guy had something special after that incredible athletic play he made on ST last year against Cincy (blocked punt and recovery for a TD)

finknottle Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 he has been practicing and playing the position since training camp started. 429087[/snapback] doesn't help us out-of-towners... I can only go by what I'm reading here, plus regular season games, so I really don't know whether to get jazzed up or not...
mead107 Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 would you have thought he would make the first td catch of the year ????
