Hugh Douglas was dead weight on that Eagles squad. Aside from the emotional attachment to him, there was no reason to keep him around. Plus, he's only had 6.5 sacks in the last two seasons...Ryan Denney has the same in the last two seasons. That should show you how far he's fallen, his game right now can be compared to Ryan Denney. He's had some injuries that held him back, but he's more than capable of being a starting FB for an NFL team. He'll get picked up. Plus, the guy ate the grass off of Jimi Hendrix's grave.
