mcjeff215 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Does that translate into "Sabres are on twice unless you are a Direct TV subscriber, in which case you'll need to purchase Center Ice or watch black-out?" Pitt and Wash. -Jeff
Dr. Fong Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 OK, so there are 30 teams in the NHL, 58 games televised on OLN or 116 opportunities for an NHL team to be one of the participants in this game and the Sabres are on.......twice. Or about half of what you would expect them to be on if OLN distributed the appearances evenly.
envirojeff Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 I went ahead and got the package. A little spendy, but I'm looking forward to it. Jeff
swede316 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Damn you ESPN!!!!....I don't get OLN here Down Under....Guess I'm stuck watching Cricket....
PTS Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 http://www.nhl.com/news/2005/09/233896.html Meanwhile, Sabres will be on National TV in Canada a total of nine times. 3 on Hockey Night in Canada (CBC) and 6 on TSN.

I'm a Buffalo boy and they're my squad, but come on...Lindy Ruff hockey is boring as hell. If I was a fan of another team, it would take a lot to get me to watch the Sabres. I bet people who are not fans of the team couldn't name 3 players. Will you tune in to OLN when the Minnesota Wild play the Nashville Predators?
